The much much anticipated release of the collabo with Brazilian drummer Mamao. The album was apparently has been in the works for quite some time because of Lib's love of Brazilian Samba, more specifically Mamao's group Azymuth. I've been looking for this for a hot minute and can't wait to throw this on the iPod. This is definitely not going to be a typical hip-hop release from The Beat Conductor, so my strictly hip-hop heads look elsewhere. Maybe here?

Trigger Finger Itch...

This album was my introduction to Gangstarr and what can I say that hasn't already been said about it. It is in my opinion their STRONGEST LP they've ever crafted. The amount of headbangers on here is crazy. From classic joints like "You know my steez" to "JFK 2 LAX" to forgotten gems like "The rep grows bigger". I believe this album elevated Primo's career from great producer to legendary status. Released in 1998, the album begged for more attention so they threw a greatest hits disc together and guess which album dominated the tracklist. Moment of Truth
